Mr Gates first leading lesson

Four of us met up for a reccy ride to see if a route would work out for the Rhayader ride, turned out not to be suitable for this time of year.

With not enough day light hours , three blocked/fenced off legal lanes   & one farmer that said to shocker "I could kill you now & no one would know" which even left shocker speechless not for long tho!  





Mr Gates soon got his head around map reading  



Then he cracked on & planned a route  



Fairplay.....he is a quick learner he even mastered the art on opening gates  




Which soon lead on to him closing em too!

Looked a good day gutted I had to work .that gaerth s a quick learner did he give you any clues what he s got planned for his xmas ride

No wayne, he did say fancy dress will be compulsory but as far as the area/route ??? reckon he is holding out to surprise us

He did mention Fishguard and passports.............!

Suprised gaerth did nt lnvite him onto his xmas ride.he could have dress him up as rudolph and got him to open and close all the gates

I asked how he planned on doing it (whilst checking that he didn't have a shotgun on his lap, as he didn't even get out of his Discovery   ) before giving him some lip and riding off
