2007 KTM ECX-f 250 Sixdays with KTM 280 big bore kit

Right not had it long I know but have finally found the bike I always wanted so I need to sell.
the bike is fitted with a genuine KTM
280 cc bore kit (not the cheap athena type!), the bike has done 10 hours
use since the full engine rebuild and the fitting of the bore kit,
everything on the engine was replaced when it was stripped, as follows
Main bearings
conrod and big end bearing
big bore kit
all seals and gaskets
all valves and springs + collets
starter motor gears (common problem on KTMs so changed as precaution).
Over £1000 spent It is the new DOHC engine not RFS

The bike is the six day edition so is fitted with many factory extras such as
Black wheels
racing Triple clamps,
the bike has also had the suspension
sorted by ktech, revalved and different springs, it has a full
acropovic pipe, new
back tyre.I have just fitted RFX unbreakable orange levers, changed the fork oil and seals and fitted new pads front and rear. I have ordered a new battery which hasn't arrived yet and fitted UFO barkbusters.I am looking for £2750 ovno as I have placed a deposit on the new bike but need the cash from this to complete the purchase.Anyone in IOW trip have seen it, very fast for a 250 (280) and is very light weightChris - 07786528272

After riding wege's 300 2 stroke I want one - found one now an ex army bike with 50hrs just need to sell this - if not doesn't really matter as I am well pleased with the 280 and it is well suited to our riding

300 are a nice bike, an in between bike.
