I thought Beta made a large amount of the KTM engine for them?? Shocked Atleast KTM can carry on the tradition with Huskies having crap starters too Laughing Laughing

I haven't even got around to putting my bike up for sale yet Nate, just too busy working.. I've had a few offers of PX through mates of mates for it, but the PX have all been crappers [including two non leccy starting 310R's], So it will be a while before I get around to getting rid of it.. I'll still have to daydream of owning a Beta for a few more months yet. Crying or Very sad

Fucking take it back mogs under warranty thats shite!

Beta factory help assembly KTM engines and have no input into design.......in fact they have probably taken the oppurtunity to look at the KTM design and then thought fuck that pile of shite and designed their own under engine design. I must say mine hasnt even given a murmer of trouble and will start the bike after a week in the garage without the choke on after a 3 second turnover!!!!

Tricks no worries my bike will be available in december just gone over to Barrie's for its 4th service doing front and rear pads this one as well. keep me posted.

Thanks nate

Hi Guys.......Bike is now up for grabs for £4500 tyres 2 rides old and fully serviced last week. (3rd dealer service) on this service it had (new tyres, new pads front and rear, new bash plate, nano gearbox oil, new air filter and everything greased and checked) Bike is good to go registered to me (im first owner) and its taxed. Bargain at this money.....my new one is arriving soon. PM me is you fancy a look.....be quick tho! thanks nate

Hi Nate
I tried a 250 Beta last week and it was so light it was unbelievable , having a war in my head lately on whether to buy a Beta 300 tamed for trail riding or go full out for a Berg 450 , opinion would be appreciated if you have run 4t bikes in the past also ! Cheers

The beta 250 and 300 both come with the facility to have the ECU 2 map switch fitted, only about £30 to £40 to fit and available from any dealer. The 250 is on hard delivery standard and the 300 is on soft standard. Hence why the 250 is a bit more hard hitting from the crate than the 300. Ive had 250 and 300's and i find the 250 a bit more manageable and feels lighter.

Forget the 450 unless you are david knight or a pro and mega heavy once full of mud in a welsh forest......way too much bro in my opinion!

If you see my bike you will buy it.
