i'll double check the sidestand wiring again as that seems to be the general problem
went over all the wiring loom from the handlebars back to the cdi unit no obvious problems checked the stator motor that was ok, cleaned the spark plug and it worked for a minute which was weird but then went back to just cutting out.
felt a bit like alec guiness in bridge on the river kwai, the garage was a bit of a sweat box
and yes steve i do have a big hammer lol! lol!

I had a problem on a kmx125 years ago 1 was the side stand switch and the other there was crap in the fuel line and carb it would tick over all day but only ride for 100 mts then cut out but start up stright away

Take the switch off and try it with the wires joined together if no joy try it with the wires pulled apart.
Then if no joy hit it with the big hammer.

side stand doodah thingymajig seems to be the general reason why its doing this
i ended up on a german kmx owners club after a google search what a fecking weird place that was, once you've pressed the translate button affraid affraid affraid

make sure the breather pipe on fuel cap aint blocked or twisted ! often overlooked !
