Hi Guys Newbie from Cardiff.
Hi guys how is everyone! only moved up to cardiff a few months ago and as i couldnt afford a proper enduro bike my partner bought me a brand new WPB 160 2WIN for XMAS. now ive done no motocross in my life but hundreds of enduro rides. sounds silly but i would love to find a place where i can take my pitbike that isnt a motocross track. not a huge fan of riding motocross ya see. any ideas would be highly appreciated and dont worry about me not keeping up, im quite competant on the pitbike and enduro. most of my riding has been in cyprus ya see but have enetered a few W.O.R events in UK. THANKS GUYS!!

Hi Josh i think your biggest problem is going to be all the guys here that i know of ride road legal bikes.
We usually end up doing some kind of road work in between the trails we ride.
There's the LFR Site witch would suit what your after but you have to be fully road legal to join there rides to.

YEH IVE SEEN A FEW POSTS AND WEBSITES SAYING SIMILIAR . IF THATS THE CASE AND YOU DO HAVE TO DO THE ROAD PART OF THINGS WOULD IT NOT BE POSSIBLE FOR ME TO JUST TURN ROUND AND HEAD BACK TO THE CAR - DAY DONE FOR ME? I JUST NEED SOME PLACE THAT I CAN RIDE WITHOUT IT BEING A MOTOCROSS TRACK LOL. PLUS I ENJOY THE SCENERY

You need to be road legal to ride the greenlanes as well josh, for they are classed as roads just lack the tarmac in places.
Think u would have more fun at a mx track anyway, some of the trails have big rocks & deep water which with small wheels would be a nightmare.

Hi Josh, welcome ! ..I had the same problem last year with my CR250, always relying on mates with vans. We used to go to Machen Forrestry but that had its legal risks too, if you intend to keep the WPB it might be worth the investment in registering it and making it legal. Failing that maybe ask around on the forums for someone that knows of a friendly farmer who will open his gates for a small payment (ooh er missus)

Re: Hi Guys Newbie from Cardiff.
I know pitbikes are frowned upon by the bigger bike riders but that's because of the reputation for 'yobbos' riding around and churning up places they shouldn't do. I however am not one of them lol :-) I just want to find somewhere that I can ride through the woods and through big open planes just for the fun and freedom ya know. What are the legalities behind riding through forestry does anyone know? And machen forestry where abouts is this place do you know? And also 'Carl Tiley events' can you find them on google or is there a number to call?
By the way thanks a lot for all your info and help guys much appreciated.

Machen is up toward Caerphilly way, my advice is not to go. I'm still new on here and don't want a bollocking for recomending illegal trails. :x
