The Met office issued advice today on what to take if travelling in the snow.

mobile phone
Spare warm clothing
sleeping bag
flask containing hot drink
food for a few days
shovel
snow chains
whistle
torch

I looked a right plonker on the bus this morning going to work. Embarassed
