What type of off roading did u do before ?......
There is so so many bike's out there to pick from, yet what ever the bike all i see is smiles.....so that ones up to you Very Happy

got a sherco 250 atm ,but getting old now and need a seat
thinking of something like a crf250l
my son who has just passed can also ride it as it's 33 bhp
so sometrhing thats about 33 bhp

Seen them in thunder they look ok and not a bad price for a new bike.
How much road and off road do you intend doing?

not much on the road as i have a bonne for that but just want to get from home to greenlane without having to take the van or get done for no ins mot ect

If its mainly off road then personally i,d go for the x model its more off road orientated where as the l is more of a trail bike. Nothing wrong with that just depends on how you ride yourself.
