Brake Pads - Good Value or False economy
I replaced my worn out original equipment Nissin brake pads with some new cheapy 'Kyoto' brake pads off ebay. I didn't record the mileage but I reckon the Kyoto pads didn't last a quarter of the distance the Nissin ones did
I won't be buying Kyoto again ... anyone else got any similar or better stories??

Ive always bought genuine pads the last couple of years, They do come up on ebay now and again.
They do seem to last a lot longer than cheaper pads.

Yes I think geniune pads or at least a well known brand is the way forward ... once I've used up my spare 'cheese' brake pads (that I've just fitted).

For the record chaps: Yestrday I changed the original equipment front brake pads on my aprilia and they had done approx 2500 miles/4 years (first 900 miles road use only) . The were the original Nissin Pads - that's good going!
