how do you think they knew they were there skip?

Have either of them been up for sale or have you noticed any scum bags prowling around back lanes etc etc

A mate of mine had his bike robbed from his house . He now has it chained to the wall and floor . That`s O.K. but he has wired up a really loud alarm called a Master Blaster .
Trust me . You cannot be near one of these things when they have been activated . They scare the shit out of you .

Not good if you have pets nearby though .
Hope the fuckers that stole `em get their just deserve . CUNTS .

Chains are only so good and will only put off the opportunist thief who hasn't got the gear to cut through them when they break in, a proper bike thief only See's a chain as a minor obstacle, they usually take the locks away to work on cracking them for future robberies.

You've got to chain them and have a good anti tamper alarm fitted to the garage boys [multi sensor house alarms are best] it's the only way of putting these feckers off, those battery operated wireless alarms are useless, they smash them on the floor before you even hear it go off.

I grew up riding in an area full off 'pro' wanker bike thieves so I got to know quite a few of them.. and they will all tell you the same thing.. If a bikes bolted down with good chains and an alarm is going off they won't stick around to try and cut the chain. some won't even break in if the see the alarm box.

I hope you get your bikes back Skippy, i'll keep an eye for them down here.
