White smoking
A mate of mine has been offered a cr 250 that needs a bit of work.
He,s not interested in it himself so im in with a chance of it.
As i say it needs a bit of work not been mot,ed for a while (is registered) The main problem is its blowing white smoke? quite a bit.
Idea on a post card please as to what you think is wrong with it and what i should be paying for it?
thanks chaps
definitely going to be out on the dirt this winter with a bit of luck.

Re: White smoking
It could also your crank shaft oil seals. Check your plug and see what colour it is.
Should give you a good idea if its black and oily then its burning oil.

Re: White smoking
Been to see the bike this morning and decided to give it a miss,
There was very little oil in the gearbox and no water in the rads either.
Did sound nice but needs a bit to much work for me.
Thats for the sound advice

Re: White smoking
could be as simple as incorrect mix or blocked filter.....or something more sinister gasket or ring blown!
