Last Sunday
Geraint, Tank, Shepy and Miller turned up for a bimble around, and up the Wales/England border.
Getting almost as far a Knighton, then turned back before either Shepys curfew ran out, of Millers 300 ran out of fuel
Miller spots a sheep with it's head stuck in a fence again
Not a sight often seen.
No, not Miller stuck on a slippery rock, but Shepy running
The 'unstoppable Geraint'
Now known as 'The almost unstoppable Geraint'
Shepy looking like he's died and gone to heaven
The inevitable petrol decant into Millers lovley KTM 300, that unfortunatly drinks fuel like V8
I'd like to say i mastered the camera timer here, but sadly not.
A very nice young lady saw what obviously looked to her like an old duffer struggling with tecnology, came over and took pity!
All was going so well
Until it hit neutral!
99 miles later
The End

Re: Last Sunday
Upon arrival at the Honey Cafe, The duke and I breathed a sigh of relief when we espied the WR in the car-park. This meant a day's riding, and not the stereotypical assault course that had become synonymous with Shocker and his escapades. It was exactly that, a superb ride with a few tricky lanes in between, how someone can remember all those turn-offs, lanes and short cuts is beyond me, but it was the dog's. Great company, and Tank even turned up sober (well he did have 3 cans the night before). I ran out of petrol AGAIN, so will have to bite the bullet and buy an oversized tank, thanks for the donation guys to get me to the garage. A cracking day, aching like fcuk today, but well worth it, bring the blue beast out more Gary, cheers Miller.

No expert yet have had ah 300 in the past, if you reduce the teeth on the rear sprocket you may find it will become smoother & give you more miles to the gallon to?........

Re: Last Sunday
Wolfy's not wrong Miller, I got a Gasser 300, it came with a 13 tooth front sprocket, would fly into the powerband all the time, I've changed it to 14, and noticed the fuel improvement thing !!!! still likes a bit but definately better than before, I run 14 front, 48 Rear sprockets, gears longer so doesnt go straight into the powerband, thus gulping the fuel.

An interesting tip about the sprocket lads, will look into this first as a tank cost an arm and a leg by the looks, cheers
