South Wales Ex-pat. Empty South Wales Ex-pat.

Post by Boyo Sun Apr 03, 2011 9:38 am

Hello all. I'm originally from the Merthyr area, Fochriw to be exact (cue piss taking). However I now live in Stafford.

I've just bought a Husaberg 450EF to do some trail riding around Shropshire, Mid Wales and the Peak District.

As a regular visitor to the Valley's I was wondering if there was any chance of tagging along during your weekend ride outs. Besides the obligatory rip around the open cast as a youth I'm fairly new to riding on the loose stuff as I've always had road.

Seems like a great forum by the way. Lots of friendly banter. Look forwards to meeting some of you soon. Very Happy

Hi Boyo, used to go to Fochriw years ago to get parts from that scrap yard over there. There'll be plenty of ride outs coming soon, just keep your eye on the "I'm going riding" thread, and enjoy.

Thanks for the welcome peeps. I'm not sure when I'll be back in God's Country but when I am you can be sure I'll have the bike in the van ready to go.
