obviously sorted now... but for the future... i use old fourstroke oil i have lying around.. bit messy but works!

Have sorted it.
Rode on it all day wobbly, then gave it another 70 psi!
Just wish i hadn't bothered even buying it, and actually looking forward to it wearing out so i can justify binning it Rolling Eyes

I got more grip with an almost bald 'proper' enduro tyre - maybe they just don't suit a CRF 230??

Ps will try your tip in future if necessary though

I just fitted a Mitas C02 rear and the bead was a little devlish on that. I bought some tyre paste in a 5 litre tub from these guys in Cwmbran.
