Bridgend Newbie
Hello All,
I'm about to purchase my first off-road bike for many, many years and I'm quite excited to say the least. Pete (Booster24 on here) pointed me in this direction and is also providing my new ride (cheers Pete).
Like most boys I have a toy box and have spent the last couple of years doing trackdays and Nurburgring trips in a Mazda MX5. I also do a bit of road riding on a 16 year old Triumph Speed Triple. I have a feeling that one of them might have to go to fund this new pastime (or I might have marital issues). I've still got to sort the rest of my kit but I'm looking forward to joining in with some trail riding activities in the near future. Any advice, hints and tips are always welcome, I have a lot to learn.
Cheers,
Simon

Re: Bridgend Newbie
Thank you for the warm welcome guys. It's really appreciated.
Pete's 300 seems like a good choice to me. It may be a bit of a handful for a novice but I'm up for the challenge. Petes a nice guy and his enthusiasm, knowledge and the way he obviously looks after his toys made the decision easier. The bike should be with me by the middle of next week and that will be the longest week of my life. I'm more excited about getting out next weekend than my 7 and 10 year old boys are about Santa coming.
Once things have settled down and I've got the rest of my gear sorted, I look forward to joining some of you for a ride out.
Cheers,
Simon
