Re: Petes Day out - Sunday 26th
Not sure if a mear Munbeem can do a small report or not but I'm going to anyway.
A few of us started at 10 oclock but 3 harder ones thought they would start at 8 just to warm everything up.
Soon got onto some nice flowing lanes with some dry weather ahead, not too many bogs but loads of ruts hidden by long grass that caught a few out a treat including me (thanks muffycam).
Got in the wooded areas and then the water and snot started along with a few technical hills and rocky slopes then it was refuel for us and the bikes.
Soon back at it again then the rain arrived as we got to some great woodland tracks with a few wind blown trees to test the lads then some nice long rocky lanes that test the suspension as well.
Muffy found a nice long tunnel that would be great with better lights I was last in line but glad I was behind taffy who had better lights just a case of keeping up with him.
Finished off across the hills at a fair pace unfortunately lost Simon to a grass sky grass sky incident (hope alls ok mate).
To sum up a crackin day out with a great bunch of lads some new to me. Thanks all
Thanks to Pete and Rob for a well sorted day.
Ps It was one of those rides that the next day you want to do it all again.
