2012 and later clutches

Post by mizzed on Sun Apr 17, 2016 6:17 pm

Does anyone know if the 2012 and later 450 kind have different clutch plates. Mine went this morning but borrowed a spare pressure plate off spence which was identical, and stopped the clutch slip instantly. Cheers Spence! saved the day!

Don't know about the friction plates tho, but the Rfs plates seem to be half the price, and if there's no difference I'll be putting Rfs plates in.

Be good to know if there's any difference.

Your choice mate, they the right ones, but I'd like to be using skf or oems. That being said the head races are not as prone to wear as say wheel bearings
