There was only one other , and he obviously died of old age before the start . So Mel would have won !

Mel would have smashed that given the chance...he a good reader of lines see, he was trying to point the guys in the right direction... but they didn't seem to understand scratch when he tried to explain

We all agreed not to walk any sections , so surprised a few marshals when we blasted in , with not a clue where we were going , Hael woods I overshot the markers by about 20ft , thinking ' well this is the way I normally go !'
