I had freeride a few years back , the first one , four stroke . Lovely bike to be honest , but not the thing for a balls out 150 mile trail ride . Great for a potter , and great on technical stuff , but not that comfy , and fuel range poor , I think they've improved the tank size now , plus you can have 2 stroke . I did plenty of days on it , and it was so user friendly to ride , and very light . But have heard good reports on x trainer . Depends what you want to do . Some just buy a full size bike , then cut the seat down .

Seen Kierans x trainer on the weekend, do look like a nice bit of kit...big saving from a exc too!
Did'nt look like a mini bike to me, tank maybe a bit small but could be sorted with carrying a fuel cell on long rides... think I would pay £160 for a kickstart tho! for when the bike gets a bit older Very Happy
If I was going two stroke, I would be very tempted with one of these.

You can buy a big tank for it but I just try to plan a route were we can stop for fuel, I haven't bought one as I like the bike being small and light , the kick start kit will be purchased some time, that day will come wen the electric start fails Crying or Very sad

I seen it the weekend as well and thought it was a lovely looking bike, couple of 300 rr out as well which looked awesome.

I like the look of the new gas gas 300 as well but havent really read up on the reviews of them, lovely looking bit of kit tho
