Recently picked up a 2005 Ktm 450 exc, fitted with the RFS engine.

When I kick the bike over, it's as if you are turning the starter motor over.

I've removed the starter motor, kick start feels normal again. Starter motor looks in working order.

Haven't removed the side casing to inspect. But any suggestions?

Starter motor may have been stuck in position on the ring gear, with the motor off put power to it & see if it thrusts ? looks in working order doesnt mean it is in working order.
