Hitler never bombed Merthyr in the war , as after studying aerial photographs they came to the conclusion that it had already been bombed .

When I first moved here people told me to be aware of "The Gurnos"
.... having lived next door to Angel Town in Brixton, and then the Broadwater Farm in tottenham - i thought it was like living next to Butlins
Although I got to say, when we were looking around - the missus did say Ebbw Vale was far too rough
