First post. Getting a 2005 KTM 450 sx tomorrow. After reading the stolen bikes threads, think I will we investing in extra locks and alarms for my garage instead of anything nice for the bike! Shocked at how many have been pinched.

Anybody from Merthyr / Ebbw Vale way? Know any beginner routes?

Not done any off road riding yet, only sports bikes. Is there anywhere to legally ride off road (bike not registered yet) around here? Got to get the sx registered, but think its gonna be a pain due to the NOVA form. Do you know of anybody registering a bike recently?

James just done my gas gas, ktm should be wble to give you a letter to confirm model year and if there le gas gas do the nova. Gas gas sent me all I needed including a v55 within a week, filled in the v55 and got an mot, send it all to swansea. It took a week to turn around down at dvla

Gas gas did the NOVA? KTM are doing the letter for model year, they also told me that ET James sold the bike new in 2005. ET James are sending me the original sales receipt with the VAT on it (Paid) so I shouldn't actually need a NOVA or it should be easy to get one if I do (hopefully!).

Good luck with registering the bike...450 sx, with no off road experience!! get on the weights, ya gonna be pickin it up a bit !!!

The nova is what must be supplied now to show that all relevant tax and import duties were payed when it came into the country.

Got the NOVA form, was actually very simple. Just need to get the bike MOT'd then send everything off to DVLA.
