Just stumbled across this site whilst looking for places to ride around Chepstow and the surrounding area.

New to off road/greenlaning although done plenty of mountain biking.

Once I've got a few niggles sorted on my bike I can get her MOTd then hopefully see a few of you out and about.

Hello. Green laning is a bit like mountain biking but a lot easier going up hill lol!  Brilliant screen name by the way.

Making the uphills easier is definitely one of the appealing aspects...although still look like a workout manhandling a bike around off road.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Does anyone have a map of lanes around Chepstow and the surrounding area which can legally be ridden which they could share with me?

I was hoping to explore some of them on my mountain bike prior to getting the Gas Gas back on the road.

hello bambam, legal went out years ago lol, but there are plenty of lanes to contend with around wentwood etc, im from newport and frequent wentwood and surrounding areas so when your on the road message me and lets go play, what gasgas do you have, i have a ec 250

Indeed thought as much.

I can easily ride down tracks I know locally which look fun but want to be 100% legal so if/when I meet someone who's displeased with me being there I'd like to show them that it's perfectly legal for me to be there.
