The future is bright, the future is orange
Picked up a 2007 250EXC-f Six Days last night
Fitted with a new 280 KTM big bore kit and new clutch
Full Acropovic
Needs a few things done before the maiden voyage on the isle of wight on Friday - hence the price I got it for - may post pics when I get chance before then if not the future is bright, the future is orange

Should be mate - fitted new fork seals, bar risers and brake pads last night, waiting for my levers(should be here today) and handguards tomorrow
She is all ready then - just a question can you get the engine / clutch covers painted or anodised?

Always abit dodgy when you buy a bike that hasn't had simple maintenence done, kinda makes you wonder.. if they can't be arsed to change the easy stuff then whats the service history like!!! - Chris, if you havn't already then make sure you give it a full service before riding it in the IOW otherwise theres a chance it could go pop. better be safe than sorry matey.
edit to say - you can get the covers powder coated for about £10-15 quid.. last longer than spray or anodizzzsing

There was actually nothing wrong with the levers just wanted some bling, bar risers prefer the bike with them on and had them already, the fork seals hadn't gone but some dirt had gone past the dust seals a feler guage would have sorted it but pointed them out to the owner to act as a haggling point and then changed them just for peace of mind,as for pads well I guess he didn't want to spend any more money on it. The handguards it has the open ones which are not reinforced I prefer the proper wrap around bark buster types
The bike has just been serviced 5hrs ago -got the receipt in the KTM wallet thingy and checked the oil and looks nice and clean.
When I get the covers powder coated will I need new gaskets etc?
Cheers
