Had a call from a mate who fancied a day out local so took the offer up. Nice to get out as havent been doin much lately. Forgot how slippy leaves are!! And the ground in general is fun filled.Most seem to be one of the boys constantly stuck!! Just really around Abercarn/Pontypool areas with a great run through a river and some tricky climbs

Razz Ben the KTM is absolutely awesome, definately a world away from the XR, and unlike my "Bulletproof XR" the 450 has been faultless, with maintenance a doddle. It rides on the roads with offroad gearing quicker than the XR and riding off road is fabulous. Having said all that I still miss the XRs engine character, but not having to start it after a stall on a steep gradient

It was and seemed to do endless uphill rocky climbs, plenty of which there are no pics for

Great stuff Phil.

That rocky climb in the pics is a TWAT, pick the wrong rut and you've had it. Came off going up there once and rolled back down about 10 yards head over heels!!
