Thinking of getting one of these - any recommendations welcomed.

Don't have a fortune and needs to be easy to use and reliable.

read the trail on the 3500 model - not convinced by that one!

Cheers

I know a few with the Memory Map 3500 ( including me ) - and they seem happy enough ( Gary's worked his out now I think) . £25 gets you the wiring to bike battery . I love mine now . Just make sure you buy the model that has the 1:50000 map included , and the mounting brackets etc .

Yeah rob, i'd agree with mufynman. It does take a while to get useto, but once you have it is well worth the effort.
In the summer we done 150 plus miles up mid wales one day, wouldn't have had a chane of that without GPS.
The only annoying thing on the 3500 is that it always tracks north, not sure if there are any around that track the direction your heading.

You can get a road angel cheap enough on ebay and then down load memory map onto it.
