ive just bought my 5 year old son a 1998 KX60 for basicly his first bike, any idea's on how to limit the twist on the throttle? maybe fit a PW throttle? or any other ways?

    Saw this, should work.

"cut some tubing (brass, plastic, whatever) and place it between the slide and the top of the carb. Instant throttle stop."

Cut a bit of tube. Could be even petrol pipe and put over throttle cable above slide inside carb. Safest place to do it!

Take the throttle off & fit a thumb operated one off of a quad ( search ebay ). You can easily restrict these, cos thay have a restrictor screw on there.

Wouldn't bother trying to put spacers in the carb, it's a pain in the arse trying to get it set correctly.
Then when you want to go a bit faster you have to strip the top off the carb again.

Other than that, drill & tap a 5mm hole in the throttle body to take a 5mm screw & restrict it that way.
