8th july

Started in Cwmbran, then headed up to Henllys to ride the Legal UCR that skirts around the bottom of Twmbarlwm.

No'ing there has been problems in this area for trail riders & the police helicopter circling above (no joke) thought! that it might get interesting.

Then arriving at the green metal gate which is "illegally locked" from time to time, it was open happy days

When getting to the carpark we crossed over to ride the next Legal UCR to find this.......



After checking trailwise before i left this morning to make sure there was no tro on this lane & seeing no road sign saying the road was closed, on we went.
There was a yellow sign saying "Off road vehicles have been seized in this area"
Just like the one's you see in many petorl garage's now, you know the one's "All atv users are crimmals"

Anyway! then headed over to Caerphilly to ride the Legal Byway across Eglwysilan....

The digger has been out again!.....not to repair the road but to dig a bigger hole













As you can see these lanes are not blocked, they just a bit more interesting

Good to see the obstacles didn't stop you.

It'll be interesting to see the next effort from whoever it is that's hell bent on blocking that lane!!

Wouldn't this be something the TRF should be able to deal with, instead of sitting in their ivory tower. Assuming it is a legal lane that is?

It is legal and they are I believe trying to do something about it

And the reason the big green gate wasn’t locked is because the trf got onto the council and they threatened to prosecute the guy that was locking it. The gate at the top is also being sorted and the pond where the splash is in the process of being sorted although it is the council who are dragging their heels on this.
This is something I think the trf should have on the forum where everyone can see it so that the general public can see what the trf are doing instead of looking like a secret society
