thanks for the reply ! i decided to cut the seat down[ easier than i thought ] watched it on youtube 1st !! now im on tipeytoes but managing ok maybe a couple of bricks in my rucksack will help

I found adjusting the 'sag' on the spring made a bit of a difference - all on youtube - fairly easy to do (or I wouldn't have tried!)
