Lost in the woods

It's mad how unpredictable trailriding can be.

Todays ride started last week with a couple of us thinking of riding a loop we hav'nt done for a while but done many times before, nice gentle bimble on open top trails. With this in mind Cricket seen no need to change his tyre because it was just a rocky bimble we had in mind.
The group turned out smaller then expected so 4 of us set off, when getting fuel one had to leave then we bumped into ed & moggs looking for food.
Then the burger van had run out of rolls Again!.....Anyway speaking to ed they were heading to the same place as us just a different way so asked if we could tag along? Did'nt get many pic's like i said done this loop before. Did have a go at making a vid tho! for the second half. Sorry about the tune thought i would try it then could not get rid of it.



Fairplay to ed for leading its easy to miss a turning We all do it all the time & fair play to cricket riding them sections on slicks....
Don't take this the wrong way but Do Not think it i wise to disapear into the woods alone. Was well happy! when the phone call came that one had found the tarmac & was heading home.

Iv never been that cold in my life.shivering like a shitty dog when i got in took for ever to warm up. Good to meet u and your mates wolfy.let me kno when your next out and u can lead i'll just follow mate!

never been so cold riding back.. waited around in them woods for abit to listen for you as i came out on a fire road.. then went looking for the 'bottom car park' and gave up so had a little blitz about then got back onto the main road.. having no headlight i didnt want to be waiting about to much and riding road back in the dark... took me about a hour to get home that was the coldest ive ever been.

Good job i was the only one with a cam, the vid would have been half hour long with the time a spent with my face in the dirt

Cold. you young boys don't know the meaning of cold
when your drink pack turns to a block of ice your trousers freeze stiff and you see frost on your seat.
Then you know its cold
