todays ride

me (STABLE alfer) stevo (BLING BLING yam 450) and matty (TRUSTED DRZ)

MET AT 4.00PM and we were lucky it was at the very point the weather changed for the better, in fact we all had jackets on which were no required really, anyway took a quick blast down cwn bypass and then up the zig zag to the top gate by jewkseys farm. We then completed a nice littkle circuit before dropping down the back of the motorcross track down what has become a nasty little path with large boldersmurking everywhere. We then winged it around a few back streets and took the mountain road towards cwmtillery lakes. Followed the mountain road up the side of the lakes until they deterioated into the bolder and rock shrewn road to the british. once on the british we followed a nice new trail which was fast and flowing up to another motorcross area. Keeping the momentum going we pressed on to the infamous BOWL.........yes we all did it.

Matty DRZ precariously deciding to start climbing into a wheeling on his first attempt so he had to shut off and bin it though he was only a few meters from the top so he managed to pick it up and complete the climb.

Stevo got hit completely off line first time and when he lost the momentum and grabed the clucth to slip it the WR just wanted to dig in and climb over him so he had to shut off and go the bottom for another attempt. This time he was on it and attacked the hill more aggressively and he flew to the top.

We then pushed on to the some nice flowing stuff before we finally reached the quarry......ahhh the quarry! full of deep ponds and hidden rocks within them.....to mattys expense....twice he took a dip but only once on camera Despite being drown twice it didnt affect the DRZ starting though......KTM should take a lesson hear! LOL

We then pushed on and dropped down into aberbeeg and and did some nice stuff that stevo new about.........he said there is defo a way out the other end......being a cwm boy i wasnt so sure!!!

The end result was us having to get all of our bikes into a wheely situation whislt standing behind them to walk them through a circle sty gate......imagine doing that with DRZ400 and WR450 very entertaining ride only a few photos taken as we all had to be back for 6.30pm NEVERTHELESS A RIDE!!

You couldnt have summed that up much better mate, really enjoyed the ride just need to have some more practice and i should be ok

Matty boy in consideration you are relatively new to dirt you are a bloody good rider.........we did some tricky stuff today that you took on with ease bud. Ive seen the bowl take out some good riders on lighter bikes bro!
