Aww bollocks, ktm 2004 model 300 exc

This not on purpose as the other poor guy is trying to sell his but I pick up my new bike in two weeks and need to sell my 300 exc by then.
Excellent condition, very well looked after
Its got great tyres
11 months mot
11 months tax
ultra heavy duty tubes
new chain and sprockets
bore and cylinder checked last week all well in tolerance and look like new, new gaskets fitted when fitting it all back.

Well its like this, the 350 is due in around June at around £6700 plus but no one knows, so I could be waiting till August UNLESS i duy a new 450 exc at the reduced price of £5785, its no brainer, 450 exc deposit paid with my name on it . All I got to now is sell my two bikes, so sorry to see the 200 and 300 go, their both amazing but running two bikes is more expensive than running one . Even though looking after 2 strokes is so easy in comparison with 4 strokes. The 200 had some more bling added and new tyres and new mouses, the 200 exc is going for £3350 with everything onit ( Nate knows the bike ), its up on enduro news at the moment. Probably on of the most sorted 200's in the country. The 300 is a brilliant bike, I was thinking of getting a new 300 but they have all sold . So the next best thing is the 450. That 300 just gets on with the buisness, sad to see them go BUT some one will get a great bike and I'll get my new bike, has to go to a good home though. Cant wait to join you guys on the bikes again as long as you make room for a big bubble rapped bike, cant scratch it now can I

I borrowed my mates new 450EXC for a ride a few months ago and yes its a very easy to get on with piece of kit and thats coming from a stroker guy! They reckon the KTM 400 is equally as good!

When is it being delivered bro?

I would consider buying my old 200 back at the right price cos i know its the puppys willy.......let me know bud!

I would seriously think about a 400 Pete, Sheps was ok on that hill, but get them in the woods and they are a different bike...i would even say the 530 would be better suited.

You dont see many 450 entered in the D2D...

The NEW KTM 400 is supposed to be a much better bike than the new 450 not so agreesive especially if you are looking for the best race / trail combination bike.

Pete you know what its like 2 and a half hours into a 3hr race where too much power becomes evil!

Bet they got loads of 450'S LEFT but not so many 250 or 400 F's available

I was thinking 300 exc as I love the one I have but all sold out every were, then 400 0r 450, 400 sold out. 450 one left .
Now you guys are totaly right about power etc BUT ( am I trying to convince myself or you , I dont know, who am I :albino: ).if it gets abit too much could I not flick the remap switch and have a softer power curve? The 400 and 450 weigh the same 113 kg. Besides fook it, we all need to scare ourselves shitless at least once a week , makes us feel alive . I will regret selling my smokers and getting a 450, but you, the wife, god, queen, country know that and you will be right BUT.... THE DEVIL RECONS I'M RIGHT ON BABY

Hey buddy its your choice and each to his own the 450 EXC is a bloody good bike full stop, though the 300 and 400 are probably the perfect combination in consideration that you are going from 2 bikes into 1, get my drift?

The 300 perfect lazy power that holds and pull a gear better than the more racey 250 though when asked turns into a throrough race animal with a slip of the clutch....you know what i mean!

And then the 400EXC a perfect combination of strong yet more mellow delivery of power than the out and out race bike that is the 450EXC.

If its weight you are considering then the 300 at approx 106kg is feather weight in comparison.

All are electric start and all have dual curve igintion fitted as standard bro!

I am sure mounter can find you a 300 or 400 if pushed?
