KTM 400 Mixture screw adjustment. Empty KTM 400 Mixture screw adjustment.

having the carb cleanded, but have had to remove the mixture screw near the float bowl, anyone know the correct adjustment.

the big castelated anodised screw is your tickover screw son, mixture screw is on the underside of the carb , which one have you removed.

factory setting is 2 full turns out, do this ,then fire her up, set revs about 1500 rpm, let the engine warm up , turn mixture screw clockwise until engine revs increase remember that screw postion and reverse the screw until the engine speed decreases again, turn screw again in a clockwise rotation to the MID point of the two positions then reset your tickover, jobs a good 'un.
