Engine oil ? Empty Engine oil ?

Post by kirky Fri Sep 01, 2017 6:31 pm

Is there anybody out there? If you are what are you boys using in the 450's ? I am fed up of paying £42 a gallon for the Putoline , i hear some are using the Halfords 10w40 semi synthetic at a fraction of the price , thanks for any info  cheers

ive always used normal car engine oil, nearly 10 years in a 4 stroke engine and box never had a problem. i think expensive oil dont get changed as often which causes more problems. cheap and regular worked for me.

Exol Optima racing 4t 10/60 cheap and covers all the ktm specs. Ran the 450 for over a year on it, and now using it in the 300 gearbox. Faultless.

Opie oils do good deals. They are on line.

Sometimes they do 30% off...
