Engine oil ?
Is there anybody out there? If you are what are you boys using in the 450's ? I am fed up of paying £42 a gallon for the Putoline , i hear some are using the Halfords 10w40 semi synthetic at a fraction of the price , thanks for any info

Re: Engine oil ?
Ive been using this Castrol Power 1 Racing 4T 10W/40 Motorcycle since i bought the ktm managed to find a barrel load that fell off the back of a lorry
£32 now in halfords maybe cheaper with a trade card down to my last bottle now through.
I also used Halfords oil in both my wr's no problems but they are quality built bikes and when/if i start going out again i,l be sticking it in the orange thing to and probably kill it
£42 gallon!

Re: Engine oil ?
ive always used normal car engine oil, nearly 10 years in a 4 stroke engine and box never had a problem. i think expensive oil dont get changed as often which causes more problems. cheap and regular worked for me.

Exol Optima racing 4t 10/60 cheap and covers all the ktm specs. Ran the 450 for over a year on it, and now using it in the 300 gearbox. Faultless.
