Won't tick over Tick over problem

Bike won't tick over any more but runs to high when you alter the screw on the carb can't get it in between? Any help

I was doing it the other way around as he had not put the bike down

Pilot, main, needle, clip, a/s.

It's a crf 250x runs high as if choch is on before dieing down to tick over

You may have an air leak on the intake or maybe a tight valve. Have you checked the valve clearances?
