Lowering my 450 exc

Any imfo on lowering my bike guys its an 04 model let me know the old man ( i had a big off on monday straight over the bars my f-/-/king shoulder and neck is stiil soar

As a short arse now always do the same thing.........

Buy a stretchy/grippy seat cover
Take current cover off
With a marker pen draw a line to were you want to cut the foam down to
Saw it off as smoothly as possible with a kitchen knife
With rough then smother sand paper smooth the foam of knife marks, and take off the square edges left
Take a bit of time putting the new cover on, stretching any wrinkles out as you go
Staple around the edges with a proper staple gun

Job done, and makes a lot of difference without losing any ground clearance cheers

or you could just ride with no pants on - just make sure muffy's not sweeping that day  Razz

Try your hardest not to lower it... set it up properly ro start with and go from there mate

Electric bread knife used to be good for that job. Are they still around.
