Cheap alarm
I saw this idea on another forum as a suggested bit of extra security for off road bikes, and thought they might be ideal for some of the overnight trips
Either tuck it away behind the light, and mount it in such a way as when you move the bars from full lock it pulls the pin out, or attach the pin to something that pulls it out when the bike is moved??
Maybe not 100% security, but cost bugger all and light enough to carry unlike massive locks and chains
Can vouch for the racket they make, because I was dull enough to pull the pin in the house 'just to see' - fucking painful it was
Also handy to keep under your pillow if you end up sharing a room with some of the arse enthusiasts that are allegedly about

I think you'd need more than that to keep Mufy at bay

Could work well if you ever leave the bike in the van overnight too?
When you get it pull the pin out and see how long you can take it - I only managed 10 seconds

Re: Cheap alarm
my brother missus is a carer and has one of these just in case the old boys get a little horny.
was surprised at how loud it was so I got her to order me one months ago for use on the bike.... keep forgetting it every time I go away with the bike tho
