Hi - where to go :)

Post by GrantBanks on Sat Jan 21, 2017 8:26 pm

Me and a friend both live in Bedfordshire and have heard Wales is the best place to ride! We are planning a trip asap but we don't really know where the best places are and don't want to waste time as every hour would be precious! Please could we have some advice Smile we ride anything so any suggestions are appreciated but mainly looking for abit of a challenge and big hills.

Big thanks!

Grant

Hi Grant,
What do you ride? and where do you go in your neck of the woods?

as taffy says - an OS map would be a good starter .. some of the popular tourist attractions like Sarn Helen or Strata Florida worth looking up

Thanks for the replies! I know the maps essential but I'm looking to hear from locals aswel because if you looked at an OS map of the area I live in you would never find the best places to ride that we know about from living here, we both ride ktm exc 200s 08 & 04 I've been looking at a few vids on YouTube south Wales looks amazing I might copy a link on here and see if anyone can recognise the area Smile crm dude we ride near Biggleswade in a few hidden spots and also Thetford is a really good area for woods and greenlanes Smile thanks again
