Ten Tors Trial
Me & Wolfy chugged down to balmy Devon on Saturday for the Totnes Motorcycle Clubs Ten Tors Trial . Big thanks to Rich J for putting us up , and for working out the route
Squeezed in a few pints and a steak meal before a comfy bed and being made breakfast - much better than sleeping in a van .
Set off in the dark and met up with some of the Devon Crew , Lee , Adam , Pete , and a few others looking like they'd just come out of an 80's biker video ( all smoke and Wulfsport gear ! ) .
Didn't get too many pics during the day , but it was a great mix of lanes , with about 20 sections , some easy , some a right bastard . Plenty of upside down bikes and laughs , except for poor old Wolfy who's bike kept conking out . Special test was over an indoor mx course , Wolfy stalled it twice and probably still beat half the field
Then it was back on the trails , bit of lunch and ending up at Penny something woods where we met a hung over Brownie and Mungy Dave who rocked up to watch the hillclimb at the end . I think it was a lot easier than last year as it was dry , but still plenty of thrills and spills
Definitely recommend it . Didn't feel as trials focused as the Wyegate , and big bike friendly as most of them seemed to be big uns .
