shims

stripped the bike down tonight and we are wondering is it a good idea to replace the shims or not? scratch

suppose it depends on the clearances? they are only a few quid -- thats if your talking about the valve clearance?

What other shims you on about?

Gotta ask what age, hours, mileage is your bike ??? being that it seems to have 1 or 2 issues (would it be better to bin it & start again scratch scratch Rolling Eyes

You don't bin a KTM, as there an ongoing rebuild so somthing is always going to be new on it. Snigger

its a 2013 n its done almost 300 hrs on the original piston and rings! that is the only issue with the bike! its done well considering!!
