Electo something or other grease
Does anyone know the proper name of the grease/ Vasaline type stuff that apparently is good for waterproofing electrical connections?
Someone mentioned it yesterday, but can't remember who

Silicone grease, you can get it in the plumb centre and doubles up as good lube for your mousses

That was the one i heard mentioned yesterday
After a moist day yesterday, then a good jet washing today the bike only made a clicking/whirring noise when i pressed the start button
A bit of fiddling with all the connections and some WD40 sprayed everywhere and away she went
So now wanted to use the best stuff available to coat anything electrical
Thanks chaps

I use that Silicon grease but rather than coat everything and get shit sticking to it I filled all the block connectors with it.

Re: Electo something or other grease
You can buy proper dielectric grease, but its not cheep...
Some types of Silicon grease but I was told to watch out for any additives like carbon stuff which can transmit electricity.
You can use vaselene but not anywhere it gets warm, like under the tank. It will drip away...
Anyway I am not talking to you as you were part of the conspiracy to steel my bike!
