Quote.... Meet Abergavenny 9.30 and back before dark - PM for exactly where
More a proper old fashioned trail ride (using rights of way with some road work etc) rather than an extreme enduro training job
Big thanks to shocker for leading
Started off as planned
Then we hit the trails, proper wet & washed out at the mo
Sadly Geraint had a couple of bike probs, to be honest I thought it was a bit harsh to try & hang the guy
Thank god we managed to talk shocker round & he just got off with good spanking
Then on to some more sensible trails
This one took us a little longer than shocker expected.....
Yet we nearly made it back before dark
Thanks guys enjoyed crazy how the weather can turn a straight forward trail ride in to a tough one

Great pics Wolfy!
Feeling a little de ja vu on some of those routes, however they look completely different with a large amount of water

Soggy Saturday
Five out of ten turned up, which probably wasn't bad considering how hard it was pissing down
We all waited an hour for Steve, until we remembered he had a really good reason for keeping us standing about in the pissing down rain - slightly damp boots from a week ago!!!
Luckily we had a dry spot and a cuppa to help the wait
The onto some very wet and sloppy lanes
Paul
Wolfy and Joss
Geraint
Chris
Not only was this one wet, but really stunk of pig shit!
Luckily Geraint held her up, or he'd have been kipping in the garage tonight!
Not long after Geraint's Husky died, then ran like shit after so he decided to cut the day short, but was more miffed that he'd bought a pie and now wasn't going to get to join the picnic later
Nanny's Lane was a bit tricky as usual, then blocked completely so had to get the saw out
Very handy that Joss was on hand to point out the bit's i'd missed though
Then the picnic in the drizzle - missed bugger all there Geraint, apart from learning Pauls 'interesting' sandwich filling
I know we're all pissed off with turkey, but corned beef, cheese and ketchup??!!
Then onto London Lane, which was a bit washed out going down
Then an absolute swine going up the other side!
Joss, trying to find his bike after Wolfy found it abandoned down the bottom of the lane
Oh, by the way Joss when Wolfy nicked your bike, and we told you he'd pissed across that camber WE LIED
Don't blame you having a breather mate, it was all a bit wearing
'We'll be back before dark' turned out to be another lie
Thanks all for a brilliant day - despite the weather and Steve keeping us all waiting for so long for nothing

Re: Soggy Saturday
Big big big big thank you gentlemen for getting me out 'alive'
First time I've ever drowned a bike, in a puddle that only seemed to come up to my ankles??
Really gutted I had to have an early bath, because as always the aber run was turning out to be a good laugh despite the weather
Bike got me home, but sounds like a bag of nails, major service, including drain squash outta the radiator:D
