Has it just stopped working? If so bring them tomorrow, and I'll have a go at sorting them. I soldered new contacts on mine and has been good as new since.

the insides arc the contacts, wear them away and then they don't sit properly, putting a blob of solder back on does the job.

Cleaner wont really work, maybe for a few hours. the issue is the electrical arcs wear the contact poles down so the triangular plate cant make full contact with them, as I said a blob of solder has worked on mine and its been fine for over 4 months now.

Kill switch needs the contacts bent forward a touch so they engage.

Both fixes need you to drill out the rivets, once done just put back together and screw it on, don't need the rivets at all, just remember if you take it back off to hold it together as it is lightly spring loaded.

if you have the other 4/5 old units, bring one tomorrow and I'll sort it out for you to try if you want.
