New trousers ?
Any suggestions to an alternative to KTM Hydroteq pants .
Most recent model I had collected loads of water in the bottom of legs , so much that I had to skewer them witha screwdriver , and eventually took them back to shop . Plus they were a bit puffy ( that's puffy , like thick )
So what I'm after is an over the boot trouser , not worried about waterproof as none ever seem to be anyway , but lightweight , and made os something that doesn't melt when the bikes lying on me
Found these Klim Dakar jobs , seem to be made of cordura mostly which I think doesn't rip or melt too easily.
About £130 though , although that's only £30 more than the Hydroballoons

My ktm trousers are great. Never let me down. Wore them yesterday & with all the puddles I stayed dry.
That's not a bad price for Klim stuff Muffy.

Re: New trousers ?
Can't vouch for that particular model, but the Klim Traverse trousers i got from MX247 when they had a sale recently have been very good so far.
Excellent quality looking, and seem to be waterproof.
They didn't let a drop in, after hours and hours poxy rain on the road the other day
If you can't try them on though, bear in mind the size of the average American - you might even be able to fit in the kids stuff and dodge VAT!

Surprised you've not used them in the bog snorkelling.
