Mechanic Recommendation

Post by SherrieW on Sun Nov 15, 2015 8:54 pm

I'd like to get my (new to me) bike checked out to make sure it's all tickety boo. Any mechanic recommendations in/around Tredegar?

Always best to get to know your bike the best you can, if it goes tits up then look for a mechanic I would say.

Not just being nosey here, but where did you buy and what year is your CRF?

Only asking because i traded one in at Marsh MX recently, and if by a huge coincidence it's the same one, could let you know more about it?

I bought a 2004 from a dealer in Widnes. Marsh MX only seemed to have 2012 and newer in stock and I wanted something older...well cheaper!

Wolfy, being new to off roading I'm not sure I'd know if something felt wrong, if it's got the right tyres etc.

First thing you want to do is check the oil and water level.
Then check your chain better to slack than to tight.
What tyres are on it?
Can you post a photo?
