Brake pad chatter
The pads move about in the caliper and make like a chatter noise. They are new pads and new disks from ProAction. Any ideas?
I have taken them apart and cleaned - but......

Do you use any kind of copper grease on the pins or on the back of the pads? I dont, but wondered could this be part of the issue? The pin is pretty new

Does it make the same noise without the pads in? Could be the disk bolts?
Have you got the spring plate installed between the pads and the brake body?

Re: Brake pad chatter
Is it as simple as the sharp edges of the holes in the new discs rattling the pads, and a bit of use would bed everything in and sort it?
