Lights !

My lad got a 2005 CRF250x , fitted new stator (Trailtech) but lights dont work , if i rev it hard the headlight will glow up and goes out as the revs start to drop , any help or advice is much appreciatedThanks

If the stator is 100% prolly worth checking the voltage regulator next

Clean the stator up, is it wet and muddy in there?

Is the 250x oil or dry stator ?
Could be as simple as a bad earth ?

New stator in , it is oil type . Driving me nuts ! Aaaaargh
