Bought me an X Trainer .
What a brilliant bit of kit is all I can say about the new bitch in The Shed of Dread . Had to go to Bodmin to fetch her mind . Fack me , that was a drive but now that I've taken her for a spin I'm really buzzing about this rare thing . She's the same size of The Mighty Gasser but feels like a 125 . 8.5 ltr tank with measured oil pump mixing means no smoke . Took her first to some tight wooded trails and she munched 'em up noticeably faster than I ever could on any bike I had taken there before . After a while a few mates turned up and one of them was on a RR 3OO so we swapped bikes to compare . Put it this way , I was glad to get back on the X Trainer as I was sweating like a Perv outside a Primary School when we swapped back . The X Trainer suspension really does soak up bumps ,ruts and roots to make you ride fast . So far so good .
Rad and hand guards fitted yesterday . Had a bit of a "moment" on a tough hill climb on Friday when a tree decided that it needed to pull my clutch lever in a secret local training area of ours plus my hands were getting a bit of a beating . Love bark busters .
There's a couple of Welsh number plated bikes here at the meeting point . Tee he .
My mate has had his RR lowered and had his saddle lowered as he is a fat arsed short coont but fook , he can get some air plus he aint afraid of big climbs . Good lad but stops for rollups all the time .
Oh yeah , ice creams too .
Mmmm. I know what is way cooler than a double 99 . Come to think of it 999 did give chase at one point but my mate Woody bored the occifer to death and we headed on .
This was the bit that we had another KTM fail but it can be forgiven as this KTM was an old shed that Woody's mate had paid too much for . He went home and we went to another place .
Woody is well known for his skill of conquering hill climbs and I reckon The Mafia boys had better watch out . NOT .
Gas Gas have brought out a new bike that is piloted by Kerrazy Pheel from Madeira .
We then moved on to another place to test hill climbing abilities . The X Trainer munches hills with ease just like a trials bike .
Oops .
Some good tight steep stuff in this place but as usual , the pics never show it .
Urban Ting Innit .
We call this "f.ck that! hill" . it's proper steep with a jump half way up that tries to stop the bike dead with a wall at the top . Fair play to Scott (RR 300 and Three Cans MX mentor) for cleaning it first go .
and down .
That's a proper money making hill for all bike shops in our area . Good first ride on the new bike as well . I LOVE THE X TRAINER . Proper dirt bike for the average Joe Bloggs rider that puts a big smile on my ugly boat race . Going to meet and hand over The Mighty Gasser to her new rightful owner on Saturday in Barmouth (all welcome) then I'm taking One Armed Craig to meet good mates from Maesteg the second weekend in September . Any chance of a show and tell Wolfie ? Not to worry if you are busy but I thought I'd ask . See you's soon .

You like the X trainer then
I cant see why they don't give the option of fitting the oil pump to the 300RR sure there'd sell more then.

Great right up Steve.
But what's the advantage of a separate oil tank though on a 2t ?
When I raced a power valve, the first thing you did was convert it to premix.

Re: Bought me an X Trainer .
Something to do with the oil mix being adjusted electronically depending on how much fuel is needed plus no faffing at petrol stations or carrying it in the back pack . Old oil injectors used to chuck in the same amount regardless . There is warning light if the injection fails plus an " oil low " light . Blardy tech stuff . If I have three years happy riding like I did with The Gasser I will be chuffed . Right now (early days) I'm loving the Beta .
