a nice gentle trail ride on a sunday

Ok here's mind and cricket's ride report (I'm afraid no photos no camera ).met cricket at 1 1 o'clock (nice sensible time )at the cattle grids my the old church .so heading across the pipe line towards Llanelly hill done couple of lanes down to Gilwern then to glangwyney then some more lanes heading for grwyne fawr.got up on top with grwyne fawr in sight we look to our left over towards the valley's and their was one hell of a storm heading our way so decided to get of the top of this mountain find some tree cover and waited for the worst of it to pass over.Then we decided we were hungry so back track towards cwndu for food (£5.80 for a big breakfast and coffee can't go wrong at that price ).Once fed and dryed out we done the lanes on the side of the 479 then around towards Llangorse on to Talybont over to Ebbw Vale made our way to Aberbeeg and home .Great ride Chris thanks for leading see you soon

I remember taking the dog up and making it to the obelisk in the rain, that was enough to make me turn back.

I'm guessing they may have been sporting a brand new set of "trekking poles"?
