Welsh Two Day
I've been harbouring a fantasy that I could successfully drag myself around the Welsh Two Day Enduro course in somewhere near 2 days for a while now - but getting less convinced all the time
If I were to be deluded enough to try, does anyone have a clue as to how the entry system works?
The ACU seem to be running some sort of pre-registration system that I can't quite fathom out
As I've only got a trials licence, is that enough to register with then pay for a 'one event' job or do you need to get the enduro one to even register
Thanks

Shocker, you can get a 1 event licence on the day, you just need to tell them either on the day or pre warn them on the entry form. You'll enjoy the Welsh as long as it doesn't piss down.

Re: Welsh Two Day
I've always done the one day licence thing, but if you follow the link on Enduro News this seems a different and you'll see what I mean?
It looks like you have to pre- register to even be able to enter when the magic date (11.00 Easter Mon) of when the Regs come out
Not even sure why I'm moithering about it though, as getting up the stairs seem enough of a challenge for me these days

Shocker, Its a great 2days as long as you dont crash in the 1st check like others on here, JJ
I think the license pre reg is to make the system flow quicker, but i believe you will still be able to enter on the magic day. Just be quick!!

Re: Welsh Two Day
It's a bit of a 'bucket list' thing more than anything else, and an itch I scratch now or never
If I could chug around unscathed, trail ride the special tests and manage to get a finish would be chuffed to nuts
I've heard it described as a glorified trail ride, but not taken in by that for a second - I saw the state of the SWTR mob at the finish once
What I really need is sidekick on a similar misson.......................?

Re: Welsh Two Day
Ill be your sidekick, if the weather is fine it is just a trail ride with a couple of quick bits to get through. If it is wet then it can be a long day, not so much cos its hard but you have to wait at the check points etc

Re: Welsh Two Day
Thanks for the very generous offer, but doubt I'd see you again until the finish after watching you dissappear where the 30mph limit ends in Llandrindodd
