Nice pics - I need some river action in my life !!!

Cracking pics grayo, must have had a fair bit of rain up that way strata looked pretty deep, cant beat a cwtch in the bothy eh

Missed a great day juls,highlight of the day were noises denzil was making while he was face down lying in a bog he was like a giant worm :16:

Is that the inside of the strata river emergency hut? If so always wondered what was in there, and now I know, I always imagined there were hot Nordic girls in there ready to look after you in adverse weather conditions, guess I was wrong!

That water looked a bit deep there ! Denzil looked at home in that chair , I thought it was Val Doolican by the fire for a minute there

Yep it did start wet, well..... pissed down up till 1 pm    tried to be sensible & miss out the water splashes early on, but took a wrong turn which took us into all types of shit
We then needed a group decision to get us out of that shit, we had gone to far in to re track without more pulling, pushing & digging one & another out  
Nige read the terrain well & we managed to get out  











All soaked to our pants & feeling very cold we took shelter & got the fire going  
Thanks to who ever left the multi pack of crisps there we were miles away from our planned food stop  






We our sprits lifted   the rain stopped too....... so we thought we would head back down through the splashes  














































As far as a pre-planned trail ride goes,, think its fair to say it went totally tits up but Hey "that's trail riding"

looking at the depth of the river I assume the puddles were even worse hence the detour and getting lost!!

Great day after the rain stopped ..... Yep them noises was me eating bog NOT nice Yuch !!!! Still great day with a great bunch of lads
